BIL Group: Inspiring the Next Generation

This week, our Sales Manager Nathan visited a local primary school for their careers fair giving insight into what BIL Group do as a company, and top tips on being the best they can be throughout their lives.

Nathan took a selection of products from head office to show the type of products we can manufacture, including wheels, castors, and an AluTruk sack truck, as well as conversation cards to get the children talking about what makes a good person, both in and out of the office.

The children both enjoyed the free BIL Group pens and knowledge they gained from their talk, and Nathan enjoyed the event as a whole, saying that it was ‘a fantastic opportunity to help inspire the future generation. Who knew the children could also be so inspirational in their own way, asking some great questions throughout the afternoon! Without delving into too many industry facts, we talked through the importance of, Teamwork, Confidence, Respect, Attitude, Passion, Empathy and Honesty with some incredible engagement from the children. I think many companies, schools and clubs can resonate with those messages and it was a real pleasure to be involved and help them on their life journey!’
